Are you struggling to teach your kids about money? This fun money activity is a great way to give them practice recognizing coins and calculating their values. ‘Dollar Race’ is a simple math game that needs only a paper, pencil, coins and two dice. Players roll the dice, and collect coins of the same value as the sum of the numbers on the dice. Players must make sure to trade coins for higher denominations wherever possible, and the first person to get a dollar note wins the game. Dollar Race also works well as an addition activity for second graders.
